Grow Wiser with AmeriCorps Alums!

June 15, 2016

Love getting #WednesdayWisdom on Twitter? Join AmeriCorps Alums for a Twitter chat on Wednesday, June 22, 12:30-1 p.m. EDT using #AmeriGrad.

We’ll be hosting a conversation with experienced AmeriCorps alums from across the country who want to share some advice about life after AmeriCorps with the AmeriCorps Class of 2016. We also invite you to share your own tips too by tweeting with #AmeriGrad!

This Twitter chat is part of  our larger #AmeriGrad initiative, a yearly campaign with alums like you and national service partners to celebrate all AmeriCorps gradates by connecting them to the Alums network and career supports. You can learn more about #AmeriGrad and check out the AmeriGrad Hall of Fame photo gallery at www.AmeriCorpsAlums.org.

Not sure how to follow a Twitter chat or how it will work? Below, we outline what you can do now to learn more and how to join the chat next Wednesday.

  1. Preview the questions we’ll ask and check out the short profiles of some of the alumni chat leaders who will be sharing wisdom with us next week (see below)!
  2. Log in to Twitter at 12:30 p.m. EDT on June 22.
  3. Click here for a link to all #AmeriGrad tweets so that you can follow along with the chat. The AmeriCorps Alums Twitter account @AmeriCorpsAlums will open the chat, pose questions, retweet & summarize some of the responses, and close the chat.
  4. Want to share a tip in the chat in response to one of our questions? Simply tweet using #AmeriGrad and it will show up in our conversation.
