January 17, 2014

In honor of the upcoming Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day of Service on January 20th, AmeriCorps Alums has teamed up with MPA@UNC, the online MPA degree, to create a visualization of fast facts on volunteerism in the United States. From the establishment of the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps V.I.S.T.A. programs, to the states with the highest values of volunteer time per hour, learn more about ways in which Americans join together in order to collectively solve our country’s most pressing issues. The UNC School of Government is dedicated to developing better public service leaders and is proud to partner with AmeriCorps Alums to offer a $5,000 fellowship to AmeriCorps alumni accepted for admission to MPA@UNC.
