Music to Get You Inspired

April 20, 2012

Today marks the beginning of a HUGE weekend; not only is it the second weekend of National Volunteer Week and the music festival Coachella, it’s also Global Youth Service Day, the largest service event in the world!

From our days of riding long van trips to putting community outreach events to doing somethin’ good on your birthday, music has always been a big part of the service experience – helping us have fun and get in the zone for getting things done.

Featuring some of the Coachella headliners (including Hologram Tupac!), classic inspirational songs, and submissions by your fellow Alums, here are some songs to help you take you higher in service!

Reba McEntire and Carole King – Everyday People

Kris Allen – Live Like We’re Dyin’

Tim McGraw – Live Like you Were Dyin’

The Avett Brothers – Hard Worker

Swedish House Mafia – Save the World

Kaskade- 4 AM

David Guetta – Titanium ft. Sia

Avicii – Levels

Tupac – Changes

Eminem – Lose Yourself

Kanye West – Stronger

Childish Gambino – Giants ft. Josh Osho

Bob Marley – One Love

Nicki Minaj – Fly

Nas – I Know I Can

Florence + The Machine – Shake It Out
