Resources Galore

July 19, 2010

I’ve been putting this off for awhile now, but now that I’ve started it might be hard for me to stop. I just got a slideshare account. Oh what has been missing! I can put all our presentations, videos, documents, and other training goodies up on the web and access it from anywhere (with an internet connection of course). Not to mention, I can create my own narrated webinars (called Slidecasts). You can get the presentations I have uploaded so far here (I’m working on adding the narration… so stay tuned)!

I’ve also been connecting with AmeriCorps members at Volunteer Maryland and they are awesome. They have inspired me to take the resources and trainings that we have to the ‘net. In fact recently one Katelyn M. Ryan, the Regional Coordinator for Volunteer Maryland recorded a super helpful webinar to help answer some frequent answers about the Education Award. Check it out here:

Non-traditional uses of the Education Award

Wahoo! Welcome to the 21st century AmeriCorps Alums! I have some more resources just getting tweaked before I put them up, but what trainings would you like to see from us?
