Celebrate AmeriCorps Week 2010 with AmeriCorps Alums

February 26, 2010

National AmeriCorps Week recognizes and celebrates those who have served in, staffed or managed an AmeriCorps program and the organizations and communities who support National Service! Join our celebration!

This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the first class of AmeriCorps volunteers that President Clinton swore in to service. And this year, AmeriCorps Alums is offering 5 grants of $1,000 each to AmeriCorps Alum chapters to plan and implement National AmeriCorps Week (May 8-15) activities.  Click here for our National AmeriCorps Week Grant Application

Need some ideas for your chapter? Check out our National AmeriCorps Week page for event ideas, tips and signature projects. We’ll also have a limited edition AmeriCorps Alums – AmeriCorps Week shirt in our store very soon!
